As Finance Lead, I am responsible for applying for funding opportunities, managing the team budget, and processing member reimbursements. My role also involves regular communication with the APSC faculty. The finance subteam requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to balance immediate expenses with long-term priorities. I primarily use spreadsheets to track, allocate, and report on funds efficiently. One of the challenges I face is securing sufficient funding to support our team’s innovative projects while also ensuring that reimbursements are handled promptly. A fun fact—unlike most other subteams, I have no team members!
